Cibrián is thrilled to participate in CONDO Mexico, at the invitation of General Expenses, where we will jointly present Sun Mirror Moon, Oscar Tuazon’s first solo exhibition in Mexico.
Vehicles of intensity increasingly displace the object, rigorously extinguishing all signification, appearing only fleetingly in the moment of transaction as luminescence trapped in liquid petroleum. And yet the infinite energy of the sun remains available, unowned, a flash on the mirror’s surface.
We are here to make the chaos and the disorder more terrible than it has ever been.[1]
SUN MIRROR MOON
Read the drawings on a mirror’s surface
Make the brackets match
traces of urgency
and transformation
amidst driftwood.
A shrouded blade, unrepeatable now and proud.
A valuable joist I took note of
refracted your pearled voice:
begin building
before the ink dries
your eyes.
Find error’s guidance.
A Friend’s House
appears to you,
Young
Anger.
