Victor Ruiz Colomer (b.1993) lives and works in Barcelona. His practice is rooted in space making, a term that encompasses the production of systems and structures that experiment with their material, spatial and perceptual conditions.
Since his teenage years, Ruiz Colomer has been involved in various artist-run environments and programmes, often collaboratively producing the physical and relational infrastructure necessary to carry out these activities. Over time, some of those platforms have become autonomous works, questioning how a work is informed and contained. By extension, issues such as the materiality in the circulation of value, the invention of scripting and notation forms within pedagogical dynamics, and the production and distribution of energy are recurrent themes in his practice.

Between 2021 y 2026 he has been part of group exhibitions at La Casa Encendida and Centro Centro, Madrid; Colette Mariana-Cocotte and Cristal Palais, Paris; CAPC, Bordeaux and Cordova, Barcelona, among others.
